This is an easy bread maker version for delicious hot cross buns. Hot cross buns are traditionally eaten on Good Friday. These sweet, spiced, currant studded buns are topped with a cross to symbolize Christ. Candied fruit can also be added to this recipe and if desired, the currants can be substituted with raisins.
